Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you want to know about our Kemer boat tours, from booking and safety to transfers and family-friendly options, answered clearly in one place.

We have answered every question you might have while planning your perfect day on the Mediterranean.

More than 30 questions are grouped under seven topics, covering booking and payment, tour details, preparation tips, joining with children, and bad-weather scenarios. If you cannot find what you are looking for, you will see direct contact channels at the bottom of the page.

1Booking and Payment

How do I book a boat tour in Kemer?

Pick your preferred yacht and route on our website, then fill in the booking form or simply message us on WhatsApp. Our team confirms availability within a few minutes. Once availability is approved, your reservation is finalized with a 20% deposit, and you pay the remaining balance in cash on board on the day of the tour.

How much deposit do I pay for the booking?

A deposit of 20% of the total tour price is collected. This payment reserves the yacht in your name, lets us plan the crew, and starts the fuel and catering preparations. For full details, you can review our Terms and Conditions page.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We offer five different payment options.

  • Cash payment at our Kemer office
  • Payment to our representative at your hotel or villa
  • Payment at the marina on board (subject to availability)
  • Bank transfer (IBAN / SWIFT)
  • Credit card via a secure online payment link

Since international bank transfers can take 2 to 4 business days, online card payment is the most practical option for last-minute bookings.

When do I pay the remaining balance?

The remainder of the total amount is collected in cash on board just before departure on the day of your tour. If you prefer a different arrangement, such as paying the full amount in advance by bank transfer, please mention it during booking and we will arrange accordingly.

Can I change the date of my tour?

Yes. If your plans are disrupted by illness, flight delays, or family matters, please let us know at least 48 hours before departure. Depending on yacht availability, we do our best to offer an alternative date at no additional cost. So far, we have managed to reschedule the great majority of date-change requests within the same season.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before departure receive a full deposit refund. For cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure, a refund is possible only if we can fill the slot with a new booking. Otherwise the deposit may not be refundable due to preparation costs already incurred. Same-day cancellations are generally non-refundable, so we kindly ask you to inform us as early as possible.

2Tour Details

How long does the tour last?

Our classic daily tours typically last 5 to 8 hours. Shorter tours such as Phaselis or the sunset cruise run 4 to 5 hours, while longer routes like Suluada or Porto Genoese can extend up to 8 hours. The exact duration is clearly stated on each yacht and route page.

Where is the departure point?

The majority of our tours depart from Kemer Marina (Setur Kemer Marina). For some special routes, Çamyuva or Tekirova can also serve as departure points. After your booking is confirmed, we send you the exact meeting address and Google Maps location via WhatsApp or email.

Which routes do you offer?

Our most popular routes include the following.

For private groups and wedding organizations, routes can be customized according to guest preferences.

Are food and drinks included?

Most of our private yacht tours include lunch, light snacks, tea, coffee, water, and soft drinks. Alcoholic beverages are usually offered at an extra charge, or you are welcome to bring your own. A detailed list of what is included for your specific yacht will be shared with you in your booking confirmation.

How many swim breaks are there during the tour?

Depending on your route and tour duration, typically 2 to 4 swim breaks are offered. At each stop, the yacht anchors and our guests are free to swim, snorkel, or simply sunbathe. The captain plans break times flexibly throughout the day.

3Boat and Crew

What is the capacity of your boats?

Our fleet ranges from romantic 2-person motor yachts to event boats for 30+ guests. The minimum and maximum capacity is stated on each yacht's page, and our booking team can recommend the most suitable yacht for your group size.

Can I charter the entire boat?

Yes. All tours we offer are based on private charter. You do not share the yacht with strangers; it is reserved exclusively for your group, and the route and breaks are largely shaped by your preferences.

Are your captains professional?

All our captains hold a Coast Guard certified maritime qualification and bring years of regional experience, knowing every local route in detail. Most of our crew can communicate in English, and if you have a specific language need, please mention it during booking.

Can I see the boat before booking?

Yes. If you visit Kemer Marina at a suitable time during the day with a prior appointment, you can inspect the yacht in person. To schedule this visit, simply reach us by WhatsApp or phone.

4Preparation and What to Bring

What should I bring on board?

We recommend packing these essentials in a light bag.

  • Swimsuit and a spare set of underwear
  • Towel (boats usually provide one, but a spare is handy)
  • Sunscreen (high SPF and water-resistant is preferred)
  • Sunglasses and a hat
  • Light jacket or pareo (the afternoon breeze can be cool)
  • Phone or camera with a waterproof case
  • Personal medications and seasickness tablets if needed

What should I wear?

A swimsuit with a light t-shirt or pareo on top is usually enough. Comfortable flip-flops or sandals are recommended, since the deck can be slippery when wet. If you are joining a sunset tour, keep a light cardigan in your bag for the evening.

Do you provide towels and swimwear?

Boats typically provide towels, but bringing a spare is helpful. Swimwear is personal, so please bring your own. Bathrobes or pareos are also available on some of our premium yachts.

Is swimming equipment available on board?

Most of our boats are equipped with snorkel sets, pool noodles, floating chairs, and on some yachts SUP boards or kayaks. Use is free of charge. For professional diving equipment, we can refer you to an external service provider.

5Children, Pregnant Guests, Other Guests

Can I join with children?

Absolutely. Boat tours are family-friendly and create unforgettable holiday memories for children. Child-size life jackets are available on every yacht. For babies and very young children, please pay attention to sun exposure and hydration; a wide-brimmed hat and frequent water breaks work well.

Is the tour suitable for a pregnant guest?

In the early and middle stages of pregnancy, on calm sea days, a boat tour is generally considered safe. However, we strongly recommend getting your doctor's approval first. We do not recommend tours during the third trimester. For pregnant guests, calmer routes such as the bays around Phaselis are a better fit.

Is it dangerous for non-swimmers?

Not at all. For guests who prefer to stay on board or cannot swim, we provide life jackets, pool noodles, and floating platforms. Our crew stays attentive during every swim break. Even guests who are nervous about the sea often enjoy a wonderful experience after their first relaxed dip.

Can I bring a pet?

Small and calm pets, such as trained dogs and cats, are welcome on most private charters. Please inform us during booking, since some boats or routes may not be suitable for pets. All responsibility for pets remains with the owner.

6Transfer and Logistics

Do you provide transfer from my hotel?

Yes. With our air-conditioned VIP vehicles in the Mercedes Vito and VW Crafter class, we organize transfers from all hotels, villas, and the airport within the Kemer region. Our professional drivers communicate in both Turkish and English.

How much does the transfer cost?

The fee varies based on distance, number of passengers, and route. Transfers within Kemer are generally kept affordable, while transfers from Antalya Airport or distant hotel zones are priced separately. For an exact quote, simply share your hotel name and group size with our booking team.

Can you delay the return after the tour?

Yes. If you would like to spend some time in Kemer town after the tour, we can postpone your return transfer by 1 to 3 hours. Please mention this preference during booking, so the driver's schedule can be adjusted accordingly.

7Weather and Safety

What happens in bad weather?

Your safety always comes first. If conditions such as storms, very strong winds, or poor visibility make the sea unsafe, our captain will postpone the tour. In this case, your deposit is refunded 100% or moved to a suitable alternative date. The decision is usually made on the morning of the tour, and we inform you as soon as possible.

What should I do if I get seasick?

If you are prone to seasickness, follow these tips. Avoid a heavy breakfast on the morning of the tour, drink plenty of water, and if possible take a seasickness tablet before boarding (available without prescription at pharmacies). Looking at the horizon and getting fresh air on deck also helps. Our crew can provide additional measures to keep you comfortable.

Are the boats insured?

Yes. Every boat in our fleet is covered by compulsory passenger and liability insurance in accordance with Turkish maritime regulations. As Long Distance Tourism Travel Agency (TURSAB No. 11552), our services are fully protected by legal guarantees.

Are there enough life jackets for everyone?

Yes. A certified life jacket for every guest is available on board, including adult, child, and infant sizes. Before departure, the captain gives a safety briefing and shows where the life jackets are kept.
