Kemer Suluada Private Yacht Tour

Kemer / Private Yacht Tour

Five bays, open-sea snorkelling and marina comfort across a full day

The Kemer Suluada Private Yacht Tour is the longest leg of the daily routes along Antalya's southern coast, starting in the early morning at G Marina and ending back at the same harbour in the late afternoon. Our yacht first calls at Cleopatra and Moonlight bays, drops south past Sazak Bay, and reaches Suluada and the Three Islands islet group off Adrasan. Across this 9-10 hour route, swimming breaks are taken at five main bays, with open-sea snorkelling clear of the crowded boat lanes that define the typical Suluada Island boat trip. Suluada, with its white coral-sand shore and shallow turquoise water, forms the climax of the day before the return.

Our fleet ranges from Sunseeker, Azimut, Jeanneau, Sea Ray and Nautitech motor yachts to classic gulets, with capacities from 2 to 40 guests, and the yacht you reserve stays exclusively yours for the day. No fixed schedule, no animation programme, no foam parties; you decide how long to stay in each bay, where to have lunch, and the swimming order. Unlike a standard Suluada private boat tour that leaves from Adrasan harbour, this Suluada yacht tour from Kemer departs straight from G Marina, removing the long bus transfer at the start of the day. The route is designed for guests who want all five stops in a single day, who want the photogenic white-sand shores with their own group, and who want to skip the Adrasan transfer fatigue. Guests looking for broader options can browse all our area routes on the Kemer Private Yacht Tour page, and the complete fleet across destinations is listed on Kemer Yacht Rental.

Suluada, the Untouched Islet of Open Waters

Suluada is a natural island lying off Adrasan, south of Antalya, with no land access and reachable only by sea. Its name comes from the small but drinkable freshwater spring it holds despite its tiny surface area, making it one of the rare points in the Mediterranean where fresh water is found, unlike the many dry islands and islets of the region. This single feature turned the islet into a sailors' refuge for centuries. After leaving G Marina, our route descends south within the boundaries of the Beydağları Coastal National Park, passing Cleopatra Bay with the legends carried over from its ancient name, the soft daytime reflections of Moonlight Bay, and the shore of Sazak Bay where the pine forest meets the water. Suluada is the open-sea endpoint of this line, and the surrounding waters carry marine protected area status. With no buildings, jetty or facility on land, swimming entry is only possible from the yacht, which is the very factor that keeps the island untouched today and makes weather conditions the backbone of the route.

The "Sulu" prefix in the island's name comes from the special place this small islet held on the freshwater maps of old Mediterranean sailors. Thanks to that spring, the islet was known as a stopover both in pirate-era routes and along ancient trade lines. The shore's white colour comes from the shell deposits of single-celled organisms called foraminifera and from coral fragments ground down over millennia, and once they meet the shallow turquoise water, they create exactly the photogenic combination the island is known for. Although shared boats run this line heavily today, the boat-lane queues there can change the island experience considerably. On our route, when the yacht reaches Suluada it carries only your group, so the order of dropping anchor near the shore, the timing of going onto the beach, and the time spent on board are entirely shaped by your preference. The same applies on the return, where the duration of the deep-water snorkel break at Three Islands is set together with the group.

The only reason this little islet stayed on the map for centuries is its name, a rare point that holds fresh water among the dry rocky islets of the Mediterranean.

Suluada and the Natural Details of This Route

What sets this route apart from other Kemer lines is the absence of an ancient-city stop; every stop is built around nature, water colour and untouched shore. Suluada is the headline of the open-sea side of the day, but each bay along the route carries its own character.

🏝️

Suluada white coral sand

The detail that turns Suluada's shore white is the foraminifera shells and coral fragments ground down over millennia. Once the sand meets the shallow turquoise water, the islet earns its tropical photo character. There are no facilities on shore, and the break is taken from the yacht.

🐟

Three Islands underwater visibility

Three Islands is a dive point off Tekirova made up of four islets, three larger ones and one small. Because they sit in open water, the current keeps visibility clean, and the area is one of the rare spots where reef fish can be observed at 15 to 20 metres of depth from the surface, even with a snorkel.

🌊

Moonlight Bay shallows

Also known as Moonlight Bay near Çamyuva. Because the water close to shore is shallow and calm, the bay offers a safe area for swimmers and non-swimmers alike, making it a favourite stop for families travelling with children.

🌲

Pines meeting the sea at Sazak

Sazak's distinctive feature is that it has seen no construction. The pine cover of Beydağları runs down directly to the shore. Lunch on our route is usually served here because the pine shade and calm bay are ideal for anchoring.

The Cleopatra story

According to the tale, Cleopatra and Marcus Antonius visited this stretch of bays. There is no firm historical record. The region is known to have been on Roman routes in antiquity, which is why the story has been passed down for centuries in the form it is told today.

🐢

Beydağları National Park protection

Our entire route lies within the Beydağları Coastal National Park. The waters around Suluada also fall under marine protected area status, which is why coastal construction in the region is limited and the waters have kept their clarity over the years.

Who Is This Route Ideal For?

👥

Friend Groups and Corporate

Suluada's photogenic white sand and turquoise water suit social-media-driven corporate events and friend groups. Because the yacht stays exclusively yours, groups of 8 to 30 spend the day with their own music and their own pace.

💍

Honeymoon and Couples

Suluada and the surrounding Three Islands islets sit on the line furthest from the crowds. With a private yacht and a quiet day reserved for your group alone, this route stands as one of the strongest options for honeymoon couples on the coast.

👨‍👩‍👧

Families

The route is suitable for children aged 5 and over. The long open-sea passage can be demanding for younger swimmers, so families below this age range are advised one of our shorter routes.

Practical Tips from the Captain

01
Choose an early departure

Suluada is one of the furthest daily-route points from Kemer, and a shorter programme will not reach it; the full day of 9 to 10 hours is required. In peak season, with a 09:00 to 09:30 departure, we arrive at Suluada shortly after midday and take the main swim break in the calmest part of the day.

02
Track the weather with us

The route requires open-sea sailing. Under southerly (lodos) or strong northerly (poyraz) winds, the Suluada line is closed. In that case the captain swaps the day to the Phaselis or Porto Genoese route, with the full day, lunch and service kept the same. We share the latest status with you the day before your reservation.

03
Three Islands is the strongest snorkel stop

Suluada is the photo stop with its shallow white-sand shore. For underwater diversity the reefs at Three Islands are far richer, and we recommend extending the break here for guests who want to see the fish up close. In closed bays, underwater visibility is rarely as clear.

04
There is no jetty at Suluada

The yacht does not approach the shore. It anchors close to the shallow coast, and the beach is reached by swimming or by tender. Water shoes come in handy here. Since there is no facility or toilet on the island, it is practical to handle these needs before leaving the yacht.

05
Sunscreen and a hat are essential

The whole route runs on open deck and shadeless island bays. In summer months, the reflected UV from the sea doubles. We recommend reapplying high SPF sunscreen every two hours and wearing a wide-brimmed hat with UV sunglasses.

When Is the Best Season?

May to June

Early season. The line is calm and photo conditions are at their best. Sea temperature is sufficient for swimming but not yet at peak.

July to August

The water is at its warmest. Shared-boat traffic at Suluada increases, but with our private programme we set the order of breaks ourselves, which limits the crowd effect.

September to October

Golden season. Wind conditions are at their most balanced, the water is still warm and shared-boat pressure drops. The strongest window for the Suluada line.

November to April

Closing period. Weather conditions often block open-sea sailing, and the tour runs on request and on suitable days, with an alternative route recommended.

i
Practical Notes on the Suluada Full-Day Route

Suluada is one of the furthest daily-route points from Kemer, and a shorter programme will not reach it; the full day of 9 to 10 hours is required. Because the route requires open-sea sailing, under southerly (lodos) or northerly (poyraz) winds the captain may swap the day to the Phaselis line. There is no jetty or facility on the island, so swimming is from the yacht or by tender. For families, age 5 and above is recommended. The whole route runs on open deck and in shadeless island bays, so sunscreen and a hat are essential. Guests looking for a shorter alternative can review our Aquarium Bay private yacht tour route.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Suluada?

Suluada is a remote natural island off Adrasan, south of Antalya. There is no land access; it is reached only by boat or yacht from the sea. On full-day routes departing from Kemer G Marina, it stands as the main stop of the day.

How long is the sail from Kemer to Suluada?

One-way sailing time from G Marina to Suluada is around 2 to 2.5 hours depending on weather. This is why the route is built as a full day of 9 to 10 hours and cannot be done with a shorter programme.

How many nautical miles is Suluada from Kemer?

The round-trip sailing distance is roughly 40 to 50 nautical miles in total. Along the way, swim breaks at Cleopatra, Moonlight and Sazak bays lead up to the island.

What is the price range for a Suluada boat tour?

Prices for a Suluada boat tour vary by yacht type, capacity and season. Current quotes for options ranging from modern motor yachts to classic gulets are shared via WhatsApp or the contact form. Unlike shared tours, the Kemer Suluada Private Yacht Tour is priced per yacht-hour for the whole group, not per person.

Is this tour a full day?

Yes, the route is built around a full day. Standard departure is between 09:30 and 10:00, with return between 19:30 and 20:00. Times can shift with the season and weather, and this structure is the standard of the Kemer Suluada Private Yacht Tour.

Is it suitable for children, and from what age?

Suitable for children aged 5 and above. Because of open-sea sailing and the chance of swell, our shorter routes such as Aquarium Bay are safer for those under 5. The shallow shores at Moonlight and Sazak suit younger swimmers.

Which season is ideal?

The full season from late May to October is suitable. The most balanced wind conditions are seen from September to October, the period referred to as the golden season. July and August are when the water is warmest.

Is there a jetty on Suluada?

No, there is no jetty or facility on the island. The yacht anchors close to the shallow shore, and the beach is reached by swimming or by tender. This is one of the most important factors keeping the island untouched.

What is on the lunch menu on board?

Main course choices include meat, chicken or fish, alongside salad, pasta and olive-oil dishes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are prepared when noted at the time of reservation.

Which bay is best for snorkelling?

The points with the highest underwater visibility are Suluada and Three Islands. At these two stops the area sees visibility of 15 to 20 metres. Visibility is more limited in closed bays.

If the weather turns, will the route change?

If wind blocks the open-sea passage (lodos or poyraz), the captain swaps the day to the Phaselis or Porto Genoese line, with the full day, lunch and service kept the same. We share the latest status the day before your reservation.

Is the yacht only for our group?

Yes. The yacht you reserve is dedicated only to your group for the day. Departure time, time spent in each bay and menu details are planned with you, with no fixed schedule or animation programme.

What is the difference between a Kemer Suluada boat tour and a private yacht tour?

A standard Kemer Suluada boat tour is a shared, fixed-programme line that usually departs from a regional harbour with crowded boat traffic. The Kemer Suluada Private Yacht Tour, by contrast, runs on a yacht reserved only for your group, departs from G Marina, and the route and menu are flexible, with no foam parties, animation or fixed-hour programme.
